My first market is three days away and I’m not ready!
I have quite a few cards, journals, planners and stickers, but I have no idea how many art prints I should take. So on the weekend I decided I didn’t have enough, and sent an order to the PhotoLab. I’ve never had a issue with this print lab before, but this time there was a series of issues: the colours weren’t calibrated correctly, then prints were smudged, then they ran out of the Hahnemühle bamboo paper… Initially it sounded as though they wouldn’t be printed by Friday, but the manager really went the extra mile to pick up more paper from another location and had them reprinted today. So now I just need to get them flattened, matted, certificates added, and packaged!
I’m doing a few little mini test setups, and drawing up the signs and prices. I had my DH buy a folding table on the weekend, so now I will have my own 6 foot table in addition to the 8 foot one supplied by Inglewood Night Market. This will give me room for “Christmas in July”!
I’m trying to figure out the most effective way to pack all of my products, display items, and other supplies, but, maybe tomorrow…
